Encontro de Oceanografia

O Encontro de Oceanografia reúne oceanógrafos de diversas áreas científicas, bem como estudantes de todos os níveis académicos. Este evento que se realiza bienalmente tem como principal objetivo fomentar a partilha de ideias e promover a multidisciplinaridade na investigação marinha, um dos pilares da missão da APOCEAN. As temáticas abordadas abrangem as várias vertentes da oceanografia - física, biológica, química, geológica e operacional - incluindo ainda a paleoceanografia e o estudo do clima.

O Encontro de Oceanografia 2026 realiza-se nos dias 21 e 22 de maio no SANA Hotel, em Sesimbra.

The Oceanography Meeting brings together oceanographers from diverse scientific fields, as well as students from all academic levels. Held every two years, this event aims to foster the exchange of ideas and promote multidisciplinary approaches in marine research, one of the core pillars of APOCEAN's mission. The topics addressed cover the various branches of oceanography - physical, biological, chemical, geological, and operational - and also include paleoceanography and climate studies.

The Oceanography meeting 2026 will take place between 21 and 22 May at SANA Hotel at Sesimbra, Portugal.

The data collected will be used exclusively for the management of registration for the Oceanography Meeting. Access to this data is restricted to the APOCEAN's Board and the Meeting's organizing committee. After the event has taken place, participants may request the deletion of their personal information.
 

• Do Porto ou Lisboa - Seguir pela A1 em direção a Lisboa, atravessar a Ponte 25 de Abril e seguir pela A2. Sair para a A33 em direção a Sesimbra e seguir indicações (N378).
• Do sul - A2 em direção a Lisboa. Antes da Ponte 25 de Abril, sair para A33, seguir indicações para Sesimbra (N378).

• From Porto Or Lisboa - Follow the A1 towards Lisbon, cross the 25 de Abril bridge, and continue on the A2. Take the exit to the A33 towards Sesimbra and follow the signs (N378).
• From the south - Take the A2 towards Lisbon. Before reaching the 25 de Abril bridge, exit onto the A33 and follow the signs to Sesimbra (N378).
